Shoprite Group’s Retail Readiness Programme offers young South Africans a structured pathway into retail, combining three weeks of classroom theory with four weeks of in-store practical training. Participants who complete the programme receive an NQF Level 2 certificate and are placed in Shoprite, Checkers or Usave stores nationwide, with rolling intakes and a focus on basic sales, stock control and customer service.
